Getin Aceleradora and Topos Informática
Innovation management software: it gathers employees’ ideas for companies’ internal challenges, organizes the funnel from idea to project and gives access to funding calls and investment opportunities.
The story behind the project
The Innovation Portal is innovation management software created at Topos Informática and brought to market by Getin, the accelerator born inside the company. It works as a channel to gather employees’ ideas for internal innovation challenges, evaluate them and follow them until they become projects, while also giving access to funding calls and investment opportunities.
The Portal was the main driver of the 2018/2019 National Innovation Award, by CNI and Sebrae: Topos took first place in Innovation Management and in Organizational Innovation, competing with 1,746 companies, and was a finalist in Process Innovation. At the end of 2019, Getin won the POR TI Bahia Award, by Assespro-BA, as Solution of the Year among micro and small businesses. In 2022, version 2.0 of the Portal was part of the case with which Getin won the National Innovation Award in Innovation Management.
I was on the Portal team as a CNPq research fellow, doing applied research on innovation management, open innovation and funding policy, and I was at the award ceremony in São Paulo.

The award congress on GloboNews
GloboNews covered the 8th Brazilian Congress of Industrial Innovation, by CNI and Sebrae, where Topos and Getin received first place in Innovation Management and in Organizational Innovation. The report featured CNI’s survey showing that 1 in 3 business leaders sees the need to modernize industry.
